Three Hotels Full of Leathermen
CLAW registration is up 50%. 3000 leather men are expected at CLAW 18. CLAW returns to the magnificent Westin Downtown Cleveland April 26-29, 2018 – and our home through at least 2022 -- including vendor mart, parties, cigar deck, and more than 100 different Skills and Education sessions.
A few rooms are still available at our other two hotels -- the nearby Hampton Inn and Double Tree hotels. We expect more vacancies before the end of April, so get a room now, or get on the hotel wait list and plan to be in Cleveland next month.
CLAW’s hot new venue is Union Nightclub -- very near the CLAW hotels. Union will host three big CLAW parties and a special performance by singer songwriter Tom Goss on Friday evening. CLAW will also take over the massive Great Lakes Science Center, two blocks from the Westin on the Lake Erie coast, for the International Leather Family Dinner and museum party.
There’s a FLEXXX ASYLUM party every night! Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They'll be hotter than ever and include access to the entire FLEX Spa facility. Naked Pool Parties every afternoon too, they were a lot of fun last year so we’re going to have one each day: Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Bears, pigs and otters rejoice!
CLAW returns to the Academy Dungeon for a second year. The well-equipped facility hosts our Men’s BDSM Play parties and some skills education sessions. And for the 18th year, CLAW is proud to call the Leather Stallion Saloon home. Ohio’s oldest continuous gay bar is better than ever with the back-patio rocking with men, rain or shine. Six different CLAW 18 events are scheduled at the Stallion.
At the Westin, the CLAW 18 Vendor Mart takes over the Ballroom and fills half the seventh floor too with 48 different vendors including CLAW Master sponsors Mr-S-Leather and Leatherwerks.
Most of the 100+ different Skills and Education sessions will be held at the Westin and cover topics of great importance to us: BDSM, Power Exchange, Sex, Community, Pups, Consent, and Leather History, among many others.
For many at CLAW, the only place to be is the 24-hour Cigar Deck on the 5th floor of the Westin parking ramp. Already called “the best leather cigar deck in the world,” version 2.0 will be even better.
Friday night’s featured event is the IML40 Party and Contestant Reunion, a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the event that started it all, International Mr. Leather in Chicago, held on Memorial Day weekend. The contestant reunion features prizes, special guests and entertainment.
CLAW Speed Dating returns with ten sessions including three for BDSM and two for assplay! Meet 10 guys who like what you like in less than an hour. Advance registration strongly recommended, especially for bottoms.

The Vac Rack and Vac Cube will be set up for guys that want to feel total immobility. There’s in-room coffee service by volunteer pups and boys, a wheel of fortune, and an expanded Bound and Beautiful — the spectacular gallery and auction of intricate bondage and hot male muscle.
CLAW Sustaining Sponsors Nasty Kink Pigs and the Chicago Hellfire Club will again have private parties for guys wanting to play. The Gay Naturists and the Pocono Eagle are planning a Boots and Bourbon room party. Other events to be announced soon.
The 10th annual Leather Hall of Fame Induction ceremony takes center stage at the Sunday brunch. This year’s inductees are three organizations: International Mr. Leather, the Society of Janus, and Black Leather in Color.
Sunday night’s finale is Kinky Kabaret, an amazing show of singers and comics, hosted by our hilarious emcees Larry Golubski and Lulu Belle, and featuring a return performance by International Mr. Leather 2017, Ralph Bruneau. Stay until Monday.
