Airline Waiver Information

CLAW understands that many attendees have already purchased flights to attend CLAW in April. Most airlines have published travel waivers that allow travelers to make changes to their existing reservations as a result of COVID-19. We have collected the most current COVID-19 travel waiver information for all of the airlines that fly to Cleveland and compiled it into one place, with the hope of making the process easier for our attendees.

In addition, here are a few tips to keep in mind:

  • Most airlines require you to cancel your flights before the date of travel.
  • Most airlines will allow you to cancel your flights now (many online), and then call later to rebook using the stored value from your previous ticket. Be sure to check your individual airline's policies.
  • Keep your ticket number (generally a 13-14 digit number, for example 001-1234567890) as confirmation codes may be expunged from the airline's system before you use your credit.
  • Stored funds are generally only valid for the passenger whose name was on the original ticket.
  • Stored funds will have an expiration date. Check your individual airline's policies for the most accurate information.

Please verify any waiver information directly with your airline.
