CLAW Corp (Cleveland Leather Annual Weekend) is a 501(c)(3) national charity dedicated to the advancement, education, and celebration of adult leather and kink communities. We are organized by, of, and for the leather community and committed to creating safe, inclusive, and empowering spaces.
Who We Are
Founded in 2002, CLAW is one of the largest leather and kink non-profit organizations in the world. We produce one major annual event: CLAW each April in Columbus, Ohio. Our mission includes:
- Promote adult leather, fetish, and BDSM interests as natural and healthy
- Support peer-to-peer education and mentorship
- Create events that reflect and uplift the diversity of our community
What We Do
CLAW hosts immersive, educational events with over 100 workshops annually, hands-on kink demonstrations, world-class VendorMarts, socials, health & wellness services, and inclusive community programming. We provide:
- Volunteer opportunities and mentorship
- Professional CEUs through CARAS and expert panels
- Art shows in partnership with Tom of Finland Foundation

(Cleveland, Ohio, October 2025): We are pleased to announce that CLAW 26 will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus, Ohio. With more than 600 guest rooms and 70,000 sq.ft. of meeting space. Rooms rates begin at $199/night, reservations and registrations to open on Monday, October 13th at 6PM EST, at clawinfo.org.
With strong ties to Mid-Atlantic Leather Weekend in Washington D.C., the Hyatt team understands the culture and needs of our community. In our meetings they displayed a genuine eagerness to celebrate and support our unique community.
Columbus is a vibrant, LGBTQ+-friendly city, offering a fresh backdrop and new energy to elevate your CLAW experience. The Hyatt in Columbus promises a dynamic and inclusive space for connection, education, and celebration.
Since our inception in 2001, Cleveland, along with our dedicated volunteers and local partners, has been the heart and home of our annual Leather Weekend. It holds deep meaning for all of us, and has played a vital role shaping our history, tradition and spirit. The decision to move was made only after a long and difficult 18-month search for a suitable venue in or around Cleveland. None of the hotels or convention spaces in Cleveland chose to offer us a contract, even on Easter weekend, a historically quiet weekend for convention sized hotels.
This move does not necessarily mean a permanent departure from our long-standing home in Cleveland. If new opportunities arise, particularly regarding suitable venues in the future, we remain open and hopeful about the possibility of returning.

Accepting Applications for CLAW 26 - Submit Now!

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Skills & Education presenter and contributing to the world's largest curriculum of kinky sex education. The CLAW 26 Education Committee prioritizes kink education that serves all roles in a dynamic. Classes should support informed, risk-aware participation by addressing the full scope of each activity. Submissions that clearly engage both dominants and submissives are preferred. Please follow the instructions below to submit your biography and class descriptions.
Instructions:
- Complete the Entire Application
- Your biography must be submitted before any class description.
- Your biography must Include a high-quality picture of yourself (or representative image) for publication (minimum 3"x3" at 300dpi).
- Ensure that all sections of the application are filled out completely.
- Individual Biographies Only
- Submit one biography per person. Do not submit biographies for multiple individuals within a single submission.
- Editing Rights
- We reserve the right to edit your submission for content, grammar, spelling, and length.
- Any significant changes will be sent back to you for approval.
- Class Submissions
- You may submit up to five class descriptions for consideration.
- Typically, we will select one or two of your classes to include in the event.
- Class Scheduling
- We may schedule your class to be offered twice, giving attendees more flexibility in planning their schedules.
- Early Submission Encouraged
- Submitting your application early increases the likelihood of acceptance and allows more time for any necessary revisions.
- Educator Package
- Approved presenters qualify for a complimentary Educator Package.
- Only one co-presentor/demo individual per class will qualify for a complimentary Educator Package (valued at $249).
- Registration instructions for this package will be provided once your class is approved.
- Complimentary Educator/co-presentor packages are one per person per event, not for individual classes.
- Event Registration
- Do not register for until you receive notification regarding the acceptance of your classes.
- You are required to register under the same account as your biography and class submissions.
- If none of your classes are accepted, we welcome you to register and attend as an Attendee or Volunteer.
- Travel & Expenses
- Please note that we do not cover travel or hotel expenses for presenters.
- Event Tickets ("Add Ons")
- Event tickets are available for purchase when you register for your Educator Package.
- Session Locations
- Skills & Education sessions may be held at the main event space or at a partnering location. All sessions are open to registered attendees.
- Filming Policy
- Classes may not be filmed without prior approval. If you wish to record your class, please contact the Skills & Education Coordinator for permission.

Claw 26 is a 21+ event. You must have a valid CLAW package to stay at the host hotel.
Only events on the official CLAW schedule are CLAW-endorsed. All others are independent, attend at your own discretion.

The Host hotel is in high demand and you must have a valid CLAW package to stay at the host hotel. Don't delay in making your reservation as the Hyatt is selling out quickly. Overflow Hotel to be announced after the new year.
Note: For the safety and security of all guests, the hotel will issue one wristband per registered room occupant (max. four (4) per room). Elevator access to guest floors will be limited to wristbanded guests only after midnight on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.

Locker Rentals

There is no direct access to the CLAW private space from the elevators, so please reserve a place to store your clothes before walking through the hotel’s public areas.

During each day of your locker rental, you will have unlimited access to your locker during the daily event hours.

Individual locker dimensions are 11” wide, 13 ½” high, and 18” deep.

With multiple-day locker rentals, you can safely leave your items in your locker overnight at the event venue.

After completing your online locker reservation, you will receive an email and text message 12 hours before the event providing your locker location, locker number, and lock combination.
